Route 66 champion Jerry Ueckert dies at 71 in Edgewood
Jerry Ueckert a longtime Edgewood figure died July 9 at 71 known for promoting Historic Route 66. He co founded the Route 66 Chamber of Commerce and served as Route 66 magazine managing editor. He owned Red Arrow Campground founded The Advocate newspaper and led Retro66 film festival efforts. Memorial at Wildlife West July 23 with GoFundMe for funeral costs.
