Governor Martinez Visits Tucumcari for Constituent Day
Gov Susana Martinez with Rep Dennis Roch and Sen Pat Woods spent about three hours meeting constituents in Tucumcari. Topics included the racino license Conchas Lake water and park status, Ute Lake water disputes, Arch Hurley irrigation payments, tax reform and export growth. Martinez cited job programs and the Early College initiative, plus renewable energy plans and the Summer Reading Challenge. The group also toured Ute Lake after the events.
