Quay County Commission Tackles Open Meetings Act Compliance
The Quay County Commission elected a new chairman and two new commissioners on Monday and tabled compliance with the Open Meetings Act. Concerns were raised about recording meetings and public access, with discussions on whether to record all or partial portions. Other actions included approving a capital outlay request, a change order for the roofing project, a new subdivision plat Saddleback Acres, EMS grants, and a motion to petition the lesser prairie chicken listing. An executive session discussed personnel, property, and a court dispute, with no action taken.
