County officials report heavy rainfall washed out Route 66 near Bard Endee on Aug 4 creating a 30 by 100 by 22 foot collapse. A blade operator escaped injury while crews repaired the road, hauling caliche from atop the Caprock as residents and the county seek caliche sources and potential volunteers or consultants. The commission also approved a hospital levy payment and an ACT Work Ready Communities initiative, with an executive session on personnel issues.
