Leisure Hour School Announces Courses in Princeton
Princeton's Leisure Hour School, backed by forty civic leaders, will hold registration January 10 to 13. Ten Thursday evening classes run 8 to 10 p m at Princeton High School starting January 19, with subjects from World Politics to Contract Bridge and Sewing and Dressmaking. Enrollment is open to all, following Maplewood and Trenton precedents with strong participation.

Community League Elects Officers Nominees Named for Princeton Group
Mrs. George E. Beggs is nominated for president of the Princeton Community League to succeed Mrs. Richard W. Baker. The election will occur at the annual meeting in the First Presbyterian Church Sunday School Room at 4 00 p m Friday January 13. Black Lantern Wins Garden Club Award Again
The Black Lantern on Chambers Street captured the silver cup from the Garden Club of Princeton for the most attractive Christmas window display without holly laurel or ground pine. This is the second year in a row the business has won. The cup becomes permanent after three wins, with Zapf's Hardware Store also having two victories.

About 1200 children attended the Princeton Shrine Club Christmas Party last Thursday afternoon. Stanley S. Bergen led a large committee presenting each child a box of chocolates as they entered the Garden Theatre. Short comedies and a Western were shown. Santa Claus could not attend but will next year. Bergen thanked P. M. I., Inc. for theatre use and Fred Struve for the feature screen.

The opening night saw the Terminals defeat Dutch Neck 46 to 14 while the Rod and Gun Club rallied to beat Hightstown 84 to 20. Witherspoon Y topped Townsmen's Club 27 to 18.
