Virgil Decker, 19, of Elkhart Ind was found guilty of first degree murder in the Kosciusko Circuit Court for killing Leroy Lovett 20. The jury fixed life imprisonment as the punishment after deliberating since 6 45 pm. The state sought the death penalty and presented blood stained evidence including the murder weapon and room scene.
