Law and Order Starts Big Drive in Princeton

The Princeton Law and Order League has started a $1,000 emergency fund and a membership drive. Five hundred dollars has been subscribed and twenty-five new members enrolled at a Tuesday meeting at the General Baptist church. A Sunday meeting on Jan 9 may feature an out-of-town speaker, possibly a juvenile court judge, as the group plans to press the city to re-establish the curfew.

Twins Rob Train At Greenvillsville Mission Ends Tragically

24 year old twin brothers Jacob and Joseph Scott carried out a railroad robbery on the Illinois Central at Greenville near Kankakee. A railroad detective fatally shot Jacob, while Joseph was jailed.
