Oil gushers keep pumping at Vierling lease farm
The big Vierling lease gusher, brought to pump last Friday, maintains a rate of 650 barrels per day. Oil fills three new tanks through a two inch line, with occasional gas blows and a sulfur odor, but little water. Consolidated Oil Development plans to drill seventeen wells this winter on holdings near Princeton, using on site materials and coal for winter operations, with drills set to begin in early spring on farms east of the city.
