Christian A Lefler aged 74 died Monday morning at St Marys hospital Evansville. He was brother of Joe and John Lefler of Fort Branch. Funeral at Lowe chapel Evansville Wednesday, body sent to Elmer Toops Fort Branch home, burial at Fort Branch. He formerly sold butter and eggs between Fort Branch and Evansville.
Nearly 1,000 men gathered at Boston Chapel four miles east of Girard to exterminate wolves that had killed cattle and sheep valued at $1,000 in recent weeks. The hunt ended with no wolves captured and only a single jackrabbit bagged.
Earl HB Ellerbusch, 17, has enlisted in the United States navy at Evansville. He lists Princeton as his residence, with Mrs. William Tossie on South Main Street his aunt and guardian.
Dr Wood of Indianapolis superintendent of Methodist hospitals stopped in the city Monday evening between trains. An informal supper hour meeting at the hospital included two board members two local Methodist ministers and several doctors. He discussed standardizing the hospital including assigning physicians to blood tests and X ray plate work.
Leonard Richardson of Oakland City, a Gudgel coal mine driver, has shown improvement in hospital after being run over by a mine car. He suffered injuries to both legs and is under care today.
Walter Shouitz, a participant in the Somerville alleged duel with Bob Dunn, was arraigned in circuit court on assault and battery. He pleaded not guilty and the case will be set for trial.
Mrs. Margaret Jane Smith died at the home for aged people of the U P church in Wilkinsburg Pa. Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 10 am at the U P church in Princeton with Rev Dr Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Archer cemetery. The remains were brought to Princeton Tuesday afternoon and placed at Radcliff Colvin morgue until the service.
Twelve pallbearers carried the late Joseph H. H. Krebeck at his Sacramento funeral held Saturday. Krebeck weighed 440 pounds and died after doctors tried to remove fat from his abdomen to save his life. A specially constructed casket was needed for the service.

London reports bombs intended for King Constantine were found in Milan Italy days earlier. Two Greek suspects were said to be in possession of the explosives according to a Daily Mail dispatch.
Sardius Boger has sold his meat market on East State Street to Fred Antel of Owensville and Lion Smith of this city. The firm will be Antel and Smith. Antel currently lives at Owensville and plans to move to Princeton when property is ready. Smith is a well known local butcher with various business interests. Boger will likely devote time to farming.
Mrs. George Dunkel, visiting friends in Haubstadt, was seen in the city today while en route to her Mt. Carmel home.
