Victoria Committee Examines Magistrate Over Liquor Case
In Victoria on May 10 the local Liberals asked a committee to probe the handling of a "blind pig" liquor case tied to election day. Magistrate Jay said he handed Slavin and McBride to the military for court martial processing to speed matters. The committee will reconvene after further evidence is sought.
