Audacious repairs confirm mine damage earlier incident

London reports confirm H M S Audacious struck a mine on October 27. The hole was plugged with collision mats and she stayed afloat to be towed to a Belfast drydock for repairs at Warland-Wolff works. Officials say she is expected to rejoin the royal navy next week after fixes.

In late February reports from Petrograd describe encounters from the Niemen to the Vistula with continued cannonading on the Vistula's left bank. Austrians press in the Carpathians and on the upper San's left bank, taking over a thousand prisoners and several machine guns, while German assaults on Mytokoziourka heights are repelled with heavy losses.
