Franklin County Board Adjourns August Session and Adopts Road Sprinkling Ban
Franklin County Idaho commissioners meet August 12 1968 approve July minutes review budget and payroll. A resolution bans sprinkling along county roads by sprinkler systems citing road damage and public danger. Bills totaling numerous departments are paid and election canvass completed for the August 6 1968 nominating election.

The Rasmunssen family heard from Lyndon in Boston taking a school leave. Arvin Larsen visited his parents and Melroy Larsen family along with Vernon Westerberg. Mrs W E Crane shows improvement after a stroke. Mrs Larry Rasmussen attended Joy Moffet's wedding in Smithfield. Vaughn Larsen of Ogden visited with Norae Larsen. Jerry Spackman, studying at Idaho State, dined with Debbie Keller. Harley Jepsen and daughter Susan spent days in Salt Lake. Harley traveled after her.
