Indian Trail Brushing Reopens This Weekend
Alain Beckstead told The Quiven that the Indian Trail re opening from Thomas Springs over the mountain to Bear Lake will take place this Friday and Saturday. Volunteers are welcome to meet at Thomas Springs Friday evening for an overnight camp and work on the project. The brushing had been delayed last weekend due to Forest Service staffing. They will be there this weekend.

South Stake Names Five New High Councilmen
Preston South Stake tabled five new high councilmen and three alternates at its quarterly conference. New high councilmen are Leonard Christensen Leness Keller and Orvald Rallison with alternates Craig Nielsen Lowell Castleton and Arch Geddes. Toyota Totaled In Fairview Accident
A 1973 Toyota was totaled for $2,000 after Nathan DuVal Talbot of Lewiston fell asleep on Highway 34 south of Preston just after midnight last Sunday. He suffered minor injuries. The car left the highway and clipped the bridge guard rails from the bridge. Talbot was cited for speeding failing to remain at the scene of an accident and failure to give notice of an accident.
