A vintage bake guide lists eggs sugar salt vanilla milk and butter with sifted enriched flour and baking powder. Heat milk and butter to boiling then fold into the batter and bake in an eight inch pan at 350 F for about 25 to 30 minutes. Finish by sprinkling orange rind and sugar then return cake to warm oven.
