Pheasant Hunting Opens Saturday Across Idaho
Pheasant hunting begins at noon Saturday for an 11 day season in northern regions and most counties, with a two rooster daily bag limit and no female birds allowed. Hunting runs through November 11 with no daily closing time on opening day, while protections and regional variations apply. Mrs. Amy Ballif Taken By Death
Mrs Amy Florence Chadwick Ballif 75 longtime Franklin County resident died last Wednesday at a Salt Lake hospital from age related causes. Born April 1 1872 to James and Mary Candlan Chadwick she married Franklin Ballif in December 1894 in the Logan temple. The couple lived in Whitney and she was a prominent church worker serving as counselor and president of the Oneida stake Relief Society and stake YWMIA president. She devoted time to genealogy temple work and later became a temple worker in Logan for several years.

County teachers achieve full membership in education associations

Born Oct 28 1892 in Camas Utah she was an LDS church member and operator of Greaves Style Shop with her husband. Survived by husband two sons Keith C. Greaves and Harley C. Greaves Jr. of Washington DC one grandchild and several Carpenter siblings. Funeral services were conducted.
