Joy Christensen Dies This Morning
Joy Christensen Wallgren of Preston died this morning in an Idaho Falls hospital after a period of critical illness following the loss of a baby ten days earlier. Her husband, a first lieutenant in the army signal corps, had been an engineer at KPST when it opened and they were relocating to Corvallis Oregon to teach ROTC. They leave a six year old daughter.

W. H. Pete Jensen Democratic candidate for Congress spoke in Franklin county urging bills for adequate tax lien payments on federally owned land.
