Oxford boy killed in pigeon hunting accident
Ray Neal Walton aged 12 was fatally shot in a pigeon hunt near Oxford while his brother Garth, 13, fired a .22 rifle. The bullet struck Ray in the abdomen as the gun discharged when a bird lit on a barn. Ray was born August 8 1936 in Great Falls Montana and survived by his father and six brothers.

Henderson Dies at 58 in Clifton Farmer Dies Suddenly
Albert Francis Bert Henderson, 58, lifelong Clifton resident and farmer, died Friday night of a heart ailment. Born April 6 1890 in Clifton, he married Edith Sorenson in 1913 and had a son Rex and two daughters Barbara Reeder and Louise Walker. Survivors include his wife, son, daughters, brother William M. Henderson, and sisters May Farmer and others. Funeral services were held in Clifton Tuesday.

Four Preston FFA officers and members traveled by chartered bus with about 35 state peers to the national FFA convention in Kansas City. Dayon boy recovering from severe tractor injury
Phil Callister of Dayton, last spring critically injured when tangled in a tractor on his father's farm, underwent multiple operations in Salt Lake City. Doctors determined skull damage, and after a Nov 15 procedure his progress prompted a home return with parents. A checkup and possible plastic surgery follow.

Two Missionaries To Be Honored By Mink Creek Ward

Forger of Check Here Given 14 Year Sentence
Charles Alexander, 50, received an indeterminate term not to exceed 14 years in the state penitentiary. He pleaded guilty to forgery on November 6 in district court at Pocatello. The case, continued to November 19, was heard by Judge L E Glennon in Preston. Alexander was arrested minutes after cashing a check in a local business-house in Preston.
