City Water Users Notice Restricts Sprinkling Times
Starting May 31, west side residents of Main street may sprinkle 7 to 11 a.m. and 3 to 7 p.m. every other day. Starting June 1, same hours apply on the west side. Sprinklers capped at 20 minutes per section daily. open hoses not permitted and no nozzle larger than one half inch. Police patrols monitor compliance and fire alarm requires sprinkling to stop. The Mapleton ward held Swarm day activities in the recreation hall with parents and the bishopric attending a program and refreshments. A welcome home party for Glade Housley of Dayton was hosted by several Porter and Bowman family members. The Mapleton ward softball team beat Glendale ward in a practice game, followed by a junior team swimming trip to Downata.
