West Side High School Class of 1950 Commencement

The West Side High School Class of 1950 will hold its commencement exercises on Wednesday May 24. Officers include Edward Winward president Nanette Binggell vice president Alvin Maughan secretary with DeLamar Palmer as faculty advisor. The program features a theme Looking Forward in a Democracy and opens with the processional and Stars and Stripes.

Kresten son dies in Mink Creek tractor accident

Christensen of Mink Creek was killed Tuesday when the wheel tractor he was driving on a steep incline rolled back and pinned him beneath. Deputy Sheriff Ray Fackrell investigated. Survived by his wife and siblings. funeral plans announced by Webb Mortuary with services in Mink Creek.

4-H recreational training planned at Lake Chatcolet

Local 4-H clubs in north Idaho and Washington will hold a recreational training course at Lake Chatcolet from May 18 to May 24.
