Idaho Projects Win Approval for Dam and Reservoirs
Congress will consider three Idaho water projects after the Rivers and Harbors Board approved the Blackfoot Dam and Reservoir on Blackfoot River Rifle Dam and Reservoir on Willow Creek and Burns Creek Dam and Reservoir on the upper Snake River basin. A Fremont Dam project was deferred. The plan seeks federal state cost sharing with a 50 percent federal contribution for these projects and related agricultural research facilities at the University of Idaho and an Aberdeen potato research center.
