LDS seminary plans graduation for May 15 at 7 p m in the Franklin stakehouse with 134 seniors. High school exercises follow May 22 in the gym with guest speaker Dr Edwin L Peterson and 131 graduates led by honor students JoAnn Gamble and Rebecca Hawkes. The seminary program features a theme Builders of the Kingdom with scriptural readings a quartet and a girls trio.

Auto Accident Injures Jerry Dursteler Near Preston
Jerry Dursteler twenty year old son of Mr and Mrs Joe Dursteler of Preston was injured Saturday when his car overturned about ten miles northeast of Preston. Investigating Sheriff Amando Larsen said Dursteler, en route from Japan to Texas, was blinded by lights and failed to keep his lane. He was thrown through the rear window, treated for shock bruises and lacerations, then taken by ambulance to Hifi Air Force Hospital after first to Preston hospital. His watch stopped at 2 35 a m.

Three Griffeth Brothers Star On Track Teams
Gary Lorenzo and Bill Griffeth, three brothers from Preston, star on college and high school track squads. Gary helped BYU with a 4 21.7 mile mark at Utah stadium and co held the two mile record. Lorenzo, Preston High junior, has not lost in the mile this season and won the Class A mile at BYU Invitational. Bill, Preston High sophomore, has placed second in most mile events, noting he can run faster but Lorenzo runs farther.
