Funeral honors for Lt J Therig Jenson in Preston Utah
Full military honors were accorded Lt J. Therig. Jenson at funeral services in the First ward chapel under Bishop C. Goaslind. Speakers offered condolences to the family with Lt Raymond Allen and others representing the U S Army attending. Musical renditions included several solos and duets. The Preston battalion IVR provided a grave detachment, and the grave at Preston cemetery was dedicated by C F Hawkes. Lt Jenson entered service in 1942 and was en route to his new post seven weeks ago with his wife in Salt Lake City.
