Franklin County commissioners met February 17 1955 with Farm Bureau reps to review the 1955 budget and discuss the weed program and health measures. They approved tax cancellations for several assessments and appointed Arlando Larsen as Deputy Sheriff and Probation Officer. Hospital project costs were reviewed and a $1382.71 final payment was authorized with adjustments. Salary increases for Dan Roberts secretary and other payroll matters were approved along with numerous bill payments.
