Marauding Dogs Kill Eight Steers at Clifton Ranch
Eight valuable steers, each about 300 pounds, were killed by a pack of marauding dogs at the Lynn Davis ranch in Clifton during a snowbound event last week. Sheriff Ray Talbot investigated after a call from Mr. Davis, who disposed of three of the five dogs.

Three Local Boys Win State Farmer Degree Honors
Walter Knapp Stephen Hinckley and Gale Moser, sons of local families, will receive the state farmer degree at the BRA Convention in Nampa on March 31. The award honors outstanding FFA members for project work, BMA activities, school and community service, and academics. Knapp has run a dairy operation with five cows and offspring and has raised turkeys in recent years.
