Farmers report a bumper outlook with thinning finished early June. Magic Valley acreage rose to 36,170 from 32,378 last year, while Nyssa Nampa districts show 3,200 more acres planted. Average tons per acre reach 24.94 in Nyssa and 24.32 in Nampa with last year’s crop already strong.
