Community B Mink Creek Glencoe Riverdale. Community C Winder Banida Oxford. Community D West Side High School for Clifton Dayton Weston Linrose. Community E Palmer Motor Implement in Preston. Voters with over 15 acres in 1960 are eligible, except those in the 1959 program, and two thirds support is needed to keep quotas and penalties. If not approved, quotas lapse and price support drops to 50 percent parity.

Riverdale Community Sets 24th Celebration
Riverdale plans its 24th community celebration at the church grounds last week. Activities begin at 10 a.m with a float entry option, followed by a program at 11 and lunch at noon. From 1 p.m. games and races, a fish pond for children, and an afternoon softball game are planned with a refreshment stand available.
Swensen To Attend National County Officials Meet
Cleo L. Swensen Franklin county auditor and recorder will attend the National Association of County Officials 23rd annual conference in Detroit Michigan starting July 24. He serves on the urban area committee among nine standing committees. The event features Gov. G Mennen Williams and Detroit Mayor Louis C Miriani among speakers and runs five days with six panels and official business including elections of officers and directors.

Fathers and Sons Outing Planned by Stake Officials
Stake officials plan a Fathers and Sons outing at Preston city recreation park on Monday July 20 from 6 30 to 7 30 p m for 500 boys and their fathers. Activities include volleyball softball baseball and horse shoe pitching starting at 7 30 with a program at 9 followed by refreshments. Franklin county agent in charge DeVere Tovey reports that all noxious weeds along the railroad right of way in Franklin county were sprayed during the last week of June. A 1956 survey showed patches sprayed since then with good progress toward elimination.
