Measurements at Willow Flat and Cub River Ranger Station show snow pack water at 140 percent of normal for this time of year. Willow Flat total 16.4 inches, average 10.4 inches or 158 percent of normal. Glade Moser and Glenn Keller led the survey. Residents urged to avoid snow machines on snow courses to protect data and forecasts.

Three Wrecks Reported In Area This Week
Three accidents were reported in the area during the past week. Mrs. Florence A. Naylor of Dayton drove into a guard rail on January 4 while reaching for something in the back, the car skidding along the rail, over a ditch and canal, with undercarriage damage. A truck driven by Richard A. Hansen of Trenton overturned on January 5 on Highway 36.
