Fourteen Districts Back Bill on School Plan

Fourteen districts favor the proposed school bill while three oppose it. Favoring groups represent 90 percent of the school children. The plan promises savings of about $24,000 yearly in teachers salaries and raises elementary and high school pay. Road and bus improvements and bulk purchasing would cut costs. Civic groups like the chamber of commerce Rotary and Lions support the plan. State legislators have been notified of the position. Also notes from Salt Lake City include church services at Mark's Cathedral with addresses by Bishop Arthur W. Moulton and Archdeacon Bulkley.
