Utah Idaho Canning Crops Assn plans to sponsor a trip to the school and will provide transportation. Farmers interested should contact the district director. the local group seeks attendees for the January 7 event focusing on process vegetables research and analysis.
Earl McEntire receives home from a mission as Reed prepares to leave. A sacrament and testimony meeting is planned in the ward chapel next Sunday at 2 pm. Relatives and friends gather to honor the mission service.

Russell Fisher of Oxford has graduated from the air command staff college in Alabama. He previously taught military science at Montana State University and served as deputy commander of the 487th Bomb Group in England during the Second World War. He is married to Eleanor Migs Fisher of Orlando Florida.
Dinner notices mailed this week invite Preston Knife and Fork Club members to attend next Wednesday evening at the court and singing hall for a talk by Harold Kessinger of New Jersey on Can Man Save Himself From His Own Inventions. Sheriff Lee Hansen and deputy Tony Litz report the extradition from Phillipsburg to address a felony warrant for Kenneth B Peart aged 35. Vera Peart is also in custody with similar charges as Peart faces forged check allegations. The hearing is set in Logan with related charges in Franklin County.
