County Commissioners Revaluate Franklin County Taxes 1962
Franklin County Idaho Board met December 3 1962 in Preston in regular session as a Board of Equalization. They reviewed the 1962 tax roll assessments approved them and adjourned. The meeting also discussed a theft of about 5344 from the county treasurer’s office and assigned audits and insurance notices.

County Board Reviews Loss in Treasurer Office
On December 6 1962 the county board met in regular session with all members present. CPA Warren Vickrey of Pocatello reported an estimated loss of 5343.80 in the Treasurer's office and said an official report would follow. Sheriff Talbot discussed the investigation with the board and a Dayton meeting discussed highway transfers and county road assumption by the State. The session recessed to December 7 1962 at 9:30.
