The Preston High School music department will stage Oklahoma in February. Lead roles were chosen December 13 including Aunt Eller Nancy Brown and Mariann Larson as well as Carl Stephen Noyes and Jan Eberhard Langey among others. Directors are Lyle Shipley John Manning and Chet Harris.

Keith M. Page 29 of Preston died Saturday morning on Highway 86 near the city dump grounds when a tractor pulling a two wheel trailer broke its hitch after heavy cement and lumber loads shifted. Page, a Dayton native, was en route to work on his father’s farm and is survived by his wife Mary Lou and daughter Rhonda Lou, plus parents James Tevin Page and Dareta McCombs Page of Dayton. He served as a missionary in the north central States and held leadership roles with welding crews in Oneida.
