Former Weston Matron Dies in Nyssa Oregon
Funeral services are held in the Weston ward chapel for Christing Jensen Kelson Jensen a 89 year old former Weston resident who died at her Nyssa Oregon home August 23. Born July 23 1858 in Silkeborg Denmark she came to the United States in 1875 with two children. She married Henry Jensen in 1877 and he died in 1914. They had 13 children ten survive their mother including Celia Hall Idaho King Hill Anna Jensen Lawrence S Jensen Emma Crockett Glenns Ferry and Albert Jensen.

Former City Officer Pleads Not Guilty in Rodeo Fund Theft
Former city police officer W A Lenderman pleaded not guilty to a charge of involvement in the theft of rodeo prize money from the city police office. Judge Merrill released him after testimony showed insufficient evidence for conviction.
