Couple Killed In Head On Near Downey
Funeral services held for Theron L Swainston 74 and wife at Whitney after a head on collision near Downey. The couple, longtime Whitney residents, died Sunday and Saturday respectively. three Utah residents injured including Ivan Sorensen his wife Darle and son Alan all from Provo. Police said Swainston entered the freeway wrong way at Arimo North exit causing the crash. The Sorensens and Alan were treated and released. Mrs Sorensen remained hospitalized with severe injuries. Swainston burial was in Whitney cemetery.
