Preston City Advances Water Pipe Land and Street Paving
Preston City council met in a special session to approve buying an 18 inch water pipe for about 70 000 to extend the water line and purchase land for 6000 to create an entrance to the city garage Heber Swainston’s parcel on One Half North First West. The Second East Street between First and Second South near school property will be paved in exchange for use of the Eastside School District pool for summer recreation. The council set a 400 sewer connection fee for the new high school addition and discussed a preliminary plat for a trailer park and two way radios for the city. They also will consider the county deeper sewer system and noted a letter from the former consultant Wendell Smiths attorney about potential damages from his termination.

County Land Mistake May Cause Headaches
