Titus W. Coombs seeks to change Bear River diversion points with priority from 1901. Notice sets August 25 1955 hearing in Boise before the State Reclamation Engineer to contest issuance. Also details bids for a separate contract with C A Sundberg Associates and required bid guarantees.
Loyal W. White of Star Route Preston Idaho has filed an application for water use from Bear River. The notice indicates a request to divert or utilize Bear River waters and seeks approval under applicable water rights regulations.
Sealed bids are invited by the Clerk of the Board of Trustees for Franklin County Idaho Class A School District No 201 for electrical work and for heating plumbing and ventilation on a high school addition. Bids must be received by 8 p m August 22 1955 at the district office and opened publicly. Late bids will not be considered. Plans specifications and form are available.
Mrs Marguerite Henderson hosted overnight guests including her daughter and Reese Mickelson and Marilyn of Salt Lake City. The Bailey family traveled to Malad to visit Charles Bailey’s sister Mrs Soren Christensen. Gloria Viehweg returned home from Salt Lake City to spend the weekend with Carl Viehweg. Arthur Povey and family went to Pocatello then to American Falls to visit relatives.
Mrs Elnora Merrill visited Ogden and Salt Lake City to see daughters. Logan guests Mr and Mrs Reed Funk and daughter Bonnie dined with Mr and Mrs Ruben Butters. Nielsen home hosted Dale Koford and children from Los Angeles. Reddish and son of Pocatello visited. Fredrickson family hosted Albert Smith and Ervin Simper from Thornton and Blackfoot respectively. Idaho Falls visitors included Morgan Benson family. Mrs Lewis Bingham visited Ogden around July 24 with Coy Ward and Beverly Bingham. George Fredrickson hosted Galen Wilson and Debbie Meran Jeri Davenport and Albert Smith from Thornton. Sanfdnd Walker and two children from Denver and Kirk Bitter of Twin Falls visited. Lareen Butters returned home with Denver visitors.
Cathy Cook of Logan visited her aunt and uncle Mr and Mrs James H Baird in Mink Creek where Mrs Baird recovers from surgery at Preston hospital. Ogden residents Mr and Mrs Marinus Jensen spent the weekend in Mink Creek. Mrs Reed Jensen attended funeral services in Wendell for her uncle Anthon Nelson a Mink Creek native and brother of Oscar Nelson and Nephi Nelson now in Los Angeles.
