Springates festival set for Preston Whitney and Frantin schools
The annual Springates program will be held next week in the Previn gymnasium at 8 90 pm. School groups from Preston Whitney and Frantin will perform dances Lani Sticks May Pole and marching, with a string orchestra led by Mrs Wayne. The program opens with The Star Spangled Banner and includes patriotic gypsy and other songs ending with Idaho. Students will perform on autoharp bells piano guitar and accordion. Foss Furniture adopts Crown Oak line reviving oak as furniture wood.

Murder Suspect Returned From Cache County Jail
Arlo Gene Briggs 36 was booked in Franklin County jail on a first degree murder charge after extradition from Cache County where Charles Briggs was arrested in Weston on February 10.
