What You Should Know About Health Insurance
This fifth article in a series reviews a nationwide survey funded by Health Information Foundation. It notes that voluntary health policy ownership rose from 6.5 million to about 90 million since 1939 and correlates insurance with higher use of health services. It examines factors like more doctors and clinics, public emphasis on checkups, and employment levels, while questioning whether insurance covers all medical costs.
