GOOD FRIEND HELD IN OKLAHOMA SLAYINGS
Police hunted motive in the DaWton Oklahoma killings as Charles Duncan Jr. 19, Sterling, was arrested within an hour after Ida Tillery 23 and her brother in law Charles Ivey 19 were slain. Tillery was shot in her living room as the front door opened. A rifle fired about 15 rounds, killing Ivey and leaving Tillery dead behind a TV. Duncan, 19, allegedly obtained the rifle from a felon and had earlier been with Ivey and Duncan’s associates. A drug wholesale house former employee Coppenbarger said Duncan and Ivey were friends and Duncan did not reveal a motive. Authorities recovered five bullet holes in the car. The shooter fled after the attack and Duncan later led officers to the weapon. The case remains under investigation.
