Moon as Radio Relay If Feasible Says Navy Scientists
Navy researchers from the Naval Research Laboratory in Boulder report experiments showing the moon can act as a radio relay station. They describe radar signals of varying frequencies sent to the moon and echoed back to earth, with a peak test on Feb 24 returning a weak detectable echo after nearly 500 000 miles.
