Driver Fleeing Hit and Run Kills Carson Man
A 34 year old Carson man, John Gomez of 21027 Stearery Ave, was fatally struck and dragged by a high speed hit and run driver on Dominquez Street around 3 40 p m. His body was dragged over 38 feet then run over again after the car crashed into a house. Witnesses described the driver as a male Latin about 25. Gomez died at Harbor General Hospital. A whooping crane arrived at North America s last remaining Cock south Texas winter home in Austwell Texas.
