Pinky Breaks Through At Taigi's After Nighttime Practice
After long practice and a broken band, Pinky lands a one night gig at Taigi's in Lynwood. Manager Pete calls at 1am asking for an organist who can sing simple chords. She accepts, ferries her spinet to Luigi's by 4pm, and pieces together a set from about 40 songs, drawing on old favorites to win over a discerning crowd.
