Youth the Tops Voted, East Harlem Slain in Street Violence
A 15 year old Santos Lopez was shot dead on East 117th Street and Third Avenue after classmates titled him most likely to succeed. He had been attending a vocational high school and once belonged to a social group named the Norsemen. Police said the killer mistook him for an older grudge target.
