The Alamitos Bay Yacht Club's lease on State Park land was approved in principle to relocate to a new club house near Alamitos Bay Peninsula north of Ocean Boulevard. The plan envisions a $300,000 project with 34 slips and boat facilities, funded by Marina building funds and State Park Commission approval.
