Viet refugee seeks home after finding American husband remarried
Vu Thi Lan, a 24 year old Vietnamese refugee, arrived in Bangor with her daughter and nephew after learning her former husband Michael Green, 27, had remarried. Food stamp benefits to rise about five percent for families
The Agriculture Department announced July 1 a roughly 5 percent boost in food stamp benefits for a four person family, with eligibility income limits raised so more low income people qualify.
