Raised Markers For Freeway
The California Division of Highways plans to install raised ceramics and reflective pavement markers on 7.7 miles of the San Diego Freeway from Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach to the Los Angeles County line. The project has a $50,000 budget with bids to be opened May 31 in Los Angeles. Engineers say the raised markers offer greater durability and visibility in bad weather and at night, aiding traffic safety.
