Anniversary couples swap cards for saving plan
A couple celebrated their 50th anniversary by premutual consent buying new bedroom furniture. They forgot to buy cards, hunted separately for identical messages, then read them together in a playful moment and decided to keep the idea as a family tradition. Meanwhile local students Carol Fujikawa and Anna Christensen earned Academic Honors Lists at Mills College. Four Belmont Shore apartments hosted a four course progressive dinner for bachelorettes, ending with Spaghetti a la Bachelorette. Local fishermen at Alamitos Bay shared a late afternoon Kingfisher haul with rock cod and white fish given to onlookers along the jetty.
