Planes Looted at Long Beach Airport Stolen Radios

A thief pried into four planes at Long Beach Airport over the weekend and stole radios and direction finding gear worth about 6000 dollars. Western Skyways owner Thurston reported 3005 dollars in radios taken from his Cessna 150 and two leased Cessna 172s. A second burglary by Parstept in Downey involved three radios and equipment from a C-Air minin DeHavilland Dave. Police say entry was by prying open side windows on Aprons 3421 Spring St.
