Three men arrested in $1 robbery and shooting in North Long Beach
Long Beach police report three suspects tied to the attack on 69 year old John Baddy at his North Long Beach home. Donald Smith 25 faces attempted murder and armed robbery charges. Larry Jones 18 of Iowa and Allen Baird 18 of Michigan are charged with assault with a deadly weapon and armed robbery. Baddy survived and was listed in satisfactory condition. Smith was arrested around 1:30 am on Cherry Avenue. Jones and Baird were detained in San Pedro.
