Teen vote could beat Nixon in 1972 Look poll says
Look magazine reports a poll based on interviews at 42 high schools and 17 states showing over a third of youths from Republican families oppose Nixon's reelection, with limited gains for Nixon among Wallace supporters. The survey cites Lex Edmunds Muskin of Maine as a leading Democratic pull and notes Hatch Kenedy's weak youth appeal. George McGovern is seen mainly as antiwar, while Wallace predicts better Southern ties by 1976 amid rising Northern racial tensions.
