Jason and His Band: From Sousa to Rock and Roll Stages
A musician biography tracks Jason's arc from youth marching bands in Carson and Southland to notable rock acts in Long Beach and Harbor Junior College. It notes his shift to rock at 17, service in the Army, piano studies, and later formation of a group that toured Western states, adopting a standing-drums setup at Lake Tahoe. The article previews ongoing engagements and mentions other local acts like Norm Welch and The Naturals, The Roundup’s country nights, and future performances at Nero's club and the Golden West Ballroom.
